What is egocentric data — and why is it so valuable?
“Egocentric” data is footage shot from a person's own point of view — what your eyes and hands see as you work. A camera mounted at head level captures every grip, twist, fold, weld, stitch and sort exactly as the worker performs it.
Robots can't learn dexterity from text or photos. They need to watch real human hands solve real tasks, thousands of times, from the first-person angle they'll one day work from themselves. That footage is rare, hard to collect, and incredibly valuable to AI and robotics labs.
ARK Technologies collects this data ethically and at scale — hands only, fully consented, no faces — and licenses it to companies training the next generation of machines. Your ordinary workday becomes extraordinary training data.

Free on-site visit & sample
Our team visits your site at no cost. We record short sample clips of each task your workers do, and note how many workers are ready and how many hours a day they can contribute.

Analysis with robotics partners
We share the samples with robotics and AI companies and assess them against real requirements — confirming the work is exactly the kind of data they need.

Legal contract signed
If the samples meet requirements, we sign a clear written agreement under the Indian Contract Act — covering rights, duties, data ownership, privacy and compensation for every party.

Equipment & on-site training
Our team arrives with all equipment — head-mounted cameras (GoPro or similar) — and trains your employees on how to wear, record, and save footage correctly.

Daily QR scan-in & scan-out
Each employee gets an ID and a camera. They scan a QR in our app to start a shift and scan again to sign off. The app automatically calculates the hours worked and data recorded each day.

Get paid every four days
Once the data is verified, compensation is paid every four days — by cash, bank transfer, or any mode you prefer. The bank transfer UTR is your proof of payment.
The equipment
We provide everything. Before each shift our team hands a worker a head-mounted camera (GoPro or equivalent). They wear it, do their normal job, and we collect the cameras at day's end. Your workflow doesn't change by a single minute.
